Mission
The Scheinfeld Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (SCEI) is a leader in the advancement of excellence in entrepreneurship education and practice, and offers an entrepreneurial center in the Santa Barbara area, serving its diverse students and business community.
Vision
The Scheinfeld Center is a nexus for entrepreneurship education on the South Coast and is responsible for education and training, and the cultivation and dissemination of new technologies and business models for the 21st Century entrepreneur.
Credit and Non-Credit Courses
The Scheinfeld Center offers academia coupled with a wealth of collaborative resources and guidance to the entrepreneur from the inception of an idea, through the planning stage, and to the execution of an operational, sustainable, and ultimately profitable enterprise. Dream. Plan. Profit.
Courses are offered for credit by the Department of Business Administration, and non-credit courses by the Division of Continuing Education. Most for-credit courses are located on the main campus at 721 Cliff Drive. Click here for more information on registering for credit courses. Business Counseling Services
One-on-one business counseling is available free to students through community services offered by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
